Steel is a resource in every version of Deadlock. It is a metallic alloy that is five times as strong as iron, therefore, each ton of steel is capable of replacing up to 5 tons of iron.
Steel is not found naturally, only available via trade or by smelting iron in factories after researching Metallurgy.
